Inspired by Seiko’s first sports watch, introduced in 1959 for daring mountaineers, this tailored yet rugged creation celebrates the Alpinist legacy by prominently displaying the Alpinist logo on the dial. Equipped with a rotating inner compass bezel for outdoor adventure, the iconic design features a black dial with the signature Arabic numerals and wedge-shaped indices of the series, along with LumiBrite hands and markers.
Visible through the transparent caseback, marked with the trademark Alpinist mountain symbol, the 24-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and includes manual winding capability. Crafted of stainless steel with a super-hard coating, this watch features a secure screwdown crown and a tri-fold push-button release clasp.
