Inspired by Seiko’s first sports watch, introduced in 1959 for daring mountaineers, this tailored yet rugged creation features the Alpinist logo on the dial and a rotating inner compass bezel for outdoor adventure. The green dial draws from the archives, with gold Arabic numerals and wedge-shaped indices complemented by LumiBrite hands and markers. A transparent caseback reveals the 24-jewel automatic movement, which beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers an approximately 72-hour power reserve with manual winding capability. The stainless steel case has a super-hard coating and is paired with a brown calf leather strap sourced from an LWG certified tannery.
